Chinese Pork Ribs

Ingredients :

  • 500 g. pork ribs, cut into serving pieces
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1-1/2 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. grated ginger
  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1/4 cup tausi (black beans)
  • 1 Chinese sausage, sliced
  • 3 cups stock (or water)
  • steamed rice

Cooking Procedures :

  1. In a bowl, put pork ribs in Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, salt and pepper; stir to combine well. Marinate for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
  2. In a pan, heat oil. Sauté tausi and Chinese sausage until fragrant. Add in pork ribs (together with the marinade).
  3. Pour in stock (or water) and bring to a boil then simmer until meat tender.
  4. Serve hot on steamed rice.
  5. Serves to 3.
