A very simple way of cooking shrimps (aside from grilling). No sauce, not oily and no strong ingredients to distract the natural taste of the shrimps.
Ingredients :
- 1 lb. medium shrimps, trimmed
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, sliced thinly
- 1 tbsp. grated ginger
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- green onion, for garnishing
Cooking Procedures :
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and ginger until translucent and aromatic. Add tomatoes; stir-fry until tender and wilted.
- Add shrimps, sugar and salt. Cook; stir occasionally until shrimps color change to pink and becomes opaque.
- Stir in the green onions.
- Serve and enjoy!
