Shrimps Stir-Fry

A very simple way of cooking shrimps (aside from grilling). No sauce, not oily and no strong ingredients to distract the natural taste of the shrimps.

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb. medium shrimps, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • green onion, for garnishing
(Cooking Measurements)

Cooking Procedures :

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and ginger until translucent and aromatic. Add tomatoes; stir-fry until tender and wilted.
  2. Add shrimps, sugar and salt. Cook; stir occasionally until shrimps color change to pink and becomes opaque.
  3. Stir in the green onions.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
