Ingredients :
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/4 lb. shrimps, chopped
- 1/4 cup singkamas (turnip), chopped finely
- 1/4 cup carrots, chopped finely
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3 tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- pinch of pepper
- lumpia wrappers
- oil, for frying
Sweet Sour Sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch dispersed in
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tsp. oil
Cooking Procedures :
- Combine all the ingredients for lumpiafilling. Wrap in lumpia wrapper in long, thin shapes.
- Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Drain in paper towel. Cut into shorter lengths before serving.
- Prepare Sweet Sour Sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and let it boil until thick. Serve with lumpia (spring rolls).
